JOSELITA C. PALMA CSP, CST

Technical Assistant to the President

“Lani” is a graduate of a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and started her career in the security training industry in 1995. Her career in security operations at Spectrum Security Services, Inc. began in 2003 and continued with Gervasio Security Agency & Investigation, Inc. in 2006.

She is a lifetime member of the Philippine Society for Industrial Security (PSIS) and an accredited trainor for Philippine Association of Recognized Security Training Schools (PARSTS).

In 2010, she joined Sentinel as Security Consultant and was later promoted to its Assistant General Manager where she spearheaded company trainings. She is now the technical Assistant to the President.

JANETTE O. CAPATI

Accounting and Finance Manager

Janet is a homegrown manager having joined Sentinel in 1990 fresh from college, after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

Her journey from accounting staff for Accounts Receivables through the different desks within various departments is a testament to her “old-school” perseverance in the pursuit of professional excellence and her willingness to work through multiple management generations. She embodies the core of her department who have stayed with the Corporation for at least three decades.

CEL F. DE LEON, CSP, SO2

General Affairs Manager

Cel joined Sentinel in 2008 as HR Officer and was later promoted to HR and Admin Manager. Her proficiency with the security-industry practices grew as she studied and specialized through the variety of disciplines subsumed in the Corporation’s training programs including Certified Security Professional (CSP), Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and, ISO Quality Management System.

Eventually, Cel evolved to the position of General Affairs Department Manager in 2017 and she remains the primary gatekeeper of the organization’s development. Prior to working at Sentinel, she was an Admin and Legal Assistant to a senior partner at Fortun Narvaza & Salazar Law Office. By formal education, she is a graduate of BS in Behavioral Science from the University of the Philippines – Manila in 1994.

DIANE JANE GUILLIDO-ACCAD, CSP

Human Resource Supervisor

Diane joined Sentinel in 2016 as a Team Leader in the Corporate Investigation Department and transferred to its Human Resources Department as a Supervisor in 2019. She formed part of the HR team that worked through Sentinel’s certification for ISO certification in 2022 and was rewarded for her active participation in the ISO Management System Audit as an ISO auditor.

She also participated in the company’s adoption of The Data Privacy Act 2012 and is credited for the development of various company policies on employee behavior, discipline, and labor force improvements since 2019. She is a graduate from Cagayan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

KAY P. LOVETANA, CSP

Corporate Investigation Junior Manager

Kay joined Sentinel in 2014 as a Management Trainee and became the Corporate Investigation Department (CID) Junior Manager in 2018. With a total of 16 years of experience in pre-employment background verification, Kay is the primary specialist in background investigation.

As Junior Manager of CID, Kay has undergone an impressive array of on-the-job trainings and seminars with Sentinel, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012, Auditing Management Systems, Corporate and Security Investigation Strategies, and Certified Security Professional (CSP)

EDGAR T. GULAPA, CSP, SO2

Senior Account Executive

Edgar joined Sentinel in 2013 as a plain Security Officer and was later promoted to become a Detachment Officer at Enchanted Kingdom where he persevered for over 5 years with 150 guards under his supervision. He then got promoted to management team as an Account Executive (Operations Officer) and evolved to its lead in the Security Operations Department. Ed’s “from-the-ranks” temperament has won the respect of multiple clients in exhibiting extra-ordinary patience and perseverance in pursuit of excellence. He is also well respected by Sentinel’s guard force as a ranking member.

To his credit, Ed started his career in the security industry as a parking guard and was eventually promoted to Detachment commander in 2007. In 2009, he became a Security Officer at Edsa Shangri-La with 200 guards under his supervision. He then became a supervisor at De La Salle University in 2011-2012. His wide exposure in the field sits well with his current administrative chores.
