President
This 3rd generation Rueda-family member took the seat as Sentinel’s President in 2003. He graduated with an Economics degree (Industry & Trade) from the London School of Economics of the University of London, and originally joined Sentinel in 1986 at its Accounting and Finance Department. Prior to settling down as the company’s Treasurer, he briefly joined the Board of Investment as a technical staff to its Managing Director and Japanese company EDS Manufacturing Inc., a Yazaki subsidiary, through its External Affairs Department. The current President is principally deemed responsible for the re-engineering and corporate restructuring of Sentinel towards competitive strength at the top of the new millennium.
Vice-President
Jesus “Doc Jun” Manotok is an ophthalmologist by education and training, having graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas in 1987. He took his residency at St. Luke’s Medical Center and remains a diplomate of the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology.
While currently still a consultant at the Caloocan City Medical Center, Doc Jun has semi-retired from his medical practice to actively participate in the family business. He simultaneously holds the position of Vice President and Treasurer of Sentinel and is its current “Operator”.
Assistant Vice President & General Manager
He joined the company in 2007 and breathed new life into the 54-year-old security company. He introduced new methodologies and assembled a team of highly competent personnel to re-energize the workforce. He was also a security consultant for one of the biggest mall operators in the country.
He has been credited for instilling change in the corporate security department and implementing the company’s loss prevention programs. He was the ASIS International Phils Chapter Chairman, CY 2013.
He was also responsible for establishing Spectrum, a security company that grew exponentially catering to multinational companies involved in power development, pharmaceutical distribution, financial institutions, property development, manufacturing, mining, cannery, and business process outsourcing.
In 2003, Mr. Manipol was responsible for a surveillance and investigation project that led to the apprehension and prosecution of an international syndicate involved in the counterfeiting of major cigarette brands. In 2001, he was also credited for neutralizing an organized pilferage syndicate operating in a global pharmaceutical distribution company.
As a security agency General Manager, Mr. Manipol assisted and supported several significant clients in establishing security programs and systems in their facilities.
He graduated valedictorian in the Certified Security Professional Course under the Philippine Society for Industrial Security (PSIS). ASIS International awarded him the coveted designation of Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
